We took this cabinet platform and added the ability to make very accurate adjustments so that in multiple subwoofer systems you can properly tune them with repeatable settings that can be stored in non-volatile memory. We provide for the use of multiple inputs and twin crossovers so multiple inputs can be augmented with different settings for perfect system integration.
Our design team increased the efficiency of output from ABR by fine-tuning its mass and damping qualities and then pushed the boundaries as far as possible to extract the most output possible, raising the power available along with enhanced filters and crossover layouts. It takes a special level of digital control to manage all these processes whilst making sure that the audio signal remains in the analogue domain. DAMP 3rd Gen provides this operating system control and faster processors are employed in Reference 210 to accommodate these important processes.
Reference 210 is diminutive. It actually takes up the same floor space as the Reference 100Mk4. The accuracy of parameter setting is provided by the addition of MJ’s legendary DAMP microprocessor circuits that handle the display, crossover, gain settings, phase, power meter, in addition to all the protection circuits.
